The last full day of training for 2011 will be on the 22nd of December. We will be open on December the 28th and 29th from 6-8pm. Normal hours will resume on the 4th of January 2012.

The Academy end of year BBQ will be held at 1pm at Spencer Park on the 10th of December. Have a look at the map below to see where we will be in the park.

- Also chairs and a BBQ if you want (some provided)

Mat Kirk will be fighting in a Thai Boxing bout at UMAF 9 on the 19th of November 2011. The event will be held at Queenspark school hall, tickets are $40 for standing and $50 for VIP. Go hard Mat!

Congratulations to Cam Steer, Grant Youngman and Kieran Smith for getting gold in their divisions and Hayden Smith for getting bronze at the Australasian BJJ Championships, fantastic effort team.

Day classes are cancelled today(Tuesday 16/8/11) due to the heavy snow but all others, including kids classes, are still on.

On Saturday Cam Steer from The Academy of Combat achieved 2nd place in the under 90kg division at the ICNZ No-Gi Grappling Tournament in Auckland. Well done Cam!
